What’s great about Digi Yatra is it can be used in all Indian airports, ensuring seamless travel for passengers. You can also upload an image or PDF of your boarding pass. However, in order to scan your boarding pass, you must first possess a digital copy of it on your device.
It also features an “Identity Credential Issuer,” allowing users to add credentials using DigiLocker or Aadhaar. Despite performance improvements, the app still has its technical hiccups. For example, a black screen can occur just when you’re about to show your boarding pass to the airport staff.
Have a back-up plan
Indeed, the Digi Yatra app has overhauled its user interface and improved its performance by a huge margin. However, users are advised to manage their expectations since it’s prone to black screens, causing not only embarrassment but also delays on their end.
